One disadvantage in going up to the top of the Eiffel Tower with your camera early in the morning is that when you look east and northeast over most of Paris, you have the sun in your eyes and your photos are very backlit. ReplyDeleteLa Madeleine looks like a Roman Temple that existed before the city. Much like The Maison Carrée in Nimes. As always, great photos that make me want to be there.
