The exte...Love the photos, especially the Garnier. The exterior is wonderful, but the interior is pretty spectacular too. I saw Un Bal Masqué there many, many years ago and was surprised by how "honest" the audience was with their likes and dislikes as the cast came out for curtain calls. The newer opera house is not as interesting, imo.<br /><br />I did not know Napoleon had la Madeleine built. Another great building.
