Iwas just coughing like crazy, but no other symptoms.
They called it pneumonie ambulatoire!
Then I had to go through months of antibiotics!
I wish I had the nerve to climb up the ET. Maybe one doesn't get as dizzy looking through a camera?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-42600992089427320902007-10-03T22:36:00.000+02:002007-10-03T22:36:00.000+02:00Ken - do get a pneumonia shot--it's standard opera...Ken - do get a pneumonia shot--it's standard operating procedure these days in the States. Thought the pix were outstanding; the ladies in the cafe made me most jealous, but I prefer a croissant or brioche and a cafe au lait in the morning.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-81230242511194491192007-10-03T20:33:00.000+02:002007-10-03T20:33:00.000+02:00Ken,You should definitely check out the pneumonia ...Ken,

You should definitely check out the pneumonia shot. Ray's mom, like you, has a history of allergies and respiratory infections. She says she hasn't had so much as a cold since she started getting the pneumonia shots. I've had very little fever -- never more than 100F, and it has mostly been below that.

Melinda, I'll definitely ask about that shot. I do have a history of respiratory infections, and it runs in my family.

Linda and Vida, thanks for the nice comments.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-47549904628122365632007-10-03T15:52:00.000+02:002007-10-03T15:52:00.000+02:00there is a shot to prevent pneumonia once u hit 6o...there is a shot to prevent pneumonia once u hit 6o evidently....and I'm close! That's not fair! I used to think that I'd get over loving Paris one day after I'd traveled to other places and got older. It hasn't happened yet and I am older now. I always need some more Paris and that goes for hearing about the rest of your last day in Paris.

I'm think you need to visit your doctor soon, Ken. What you've got is more than a cold and if it's pneumonia, a shot might help, non?
