Our guide mentioned a ghost, or do I have my towns mixed up? Anyway, the group had a free night, so about 10 of us went out to eat at a nice restaurant and sat outside. Good food and we enjoyed lots of wine. One of the ladies went inside to use the restroom and came out laughing like crazy. When she flushed the toilet, the seat spun around completely, covering it with plastic. The men said their toilet did not have that, so one of the women held the door to the ladies room while each man went in and flushed. Although it was done discreetly, no doubt we we considered rude Americans!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17672462879258564321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-39079437134800970992018-06-17T15:31:06.772+02:002018-06-17T15:31:06.772+02:00I'm always impressed by excellent photos done ...I'm always impressed by excellent photos done of stained glass. Another woman, one who sold her house to friends of ours from California, moved to Blois. I can actually see her building in the second photo above, but maybe she doesn't live there any more. My problem with Blois is the traffic. It's very dense and slow-moving for a medium-size city. It is in an attractive setting, nonetheless.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-11466198750693418662018-06-17T13:08:45.841+02:002018-06-17T13:08:45.841+02:00If I remember correctly, the woman from whom you p...If I remember correctly, the woman from whom you purchased your house either moved to or was already living in Blois. Although I've never been there, your past and present descriptions have given the impression of a town of just the right size in a very attractive setting.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04335063080532127542noreply@blogger.com
