I buy the much less expensive birds from the supermarket around New Year's and put them in the freezer for later.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-19812903053637337192020-04-03T09:18:51.187+02:002020-04-03T09:18:51.187+02:00Yes, soup of course.Yes, soup of course.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-75393487824869446292020-04-03T07:30:32.862+02:002020-04-03T07:30:32.862+02:00And a soup? And a soup? Isn't "chicken" our generic term in English for Gallus gallus domesticus? A capon is a chicken, not a duck, turkey, goose, pigeon, or some other species of bird. However, there are also guinea fowl capons (chapons de pintade), at least in France.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-88120097632669037782020-04-02T15:36:45.322+02:002020-04-02T15:36:45.322+02:00We are just finishing up a roasted chicken. I'm the only one who eats meat here but I like your idea of cooking it and then freezing what was not eaten right away. I'll look for some bargains - when I can go to the store myself again.Thickethouse.wordpresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17187303460677067276noreply@blogger.com
