I told A that it must be a crow funeral (after reading your blog and comments). Then a few days later our neighbor asked if we smelled the dead skunk, or some such thing. We all decided that it must have been a dead crow, unless the crows were mourning a dead skunk. 8^0C in Californiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11797701714608179842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-64629681833905399582015-04-25T21:41:58.066+02:002015-04-25T21:41:58.066+02:00Lilac bush looks so great and the garden, tooLilac bush looks so great and the garden,tooGosiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14604712540141917583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-52727124990407814002015-04-25T21:09:57.672+02:002015-04-25T21:09:57.672+02:00Je suis d'accord avec toi, mais j'avoue qu...Je suis d'accord avec toi, mais j'avoue que je ne suis pas un expert.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-2518334928341218022015-04-25T21:02:18.329+02:002015-04-25T21:02:18.329+02:00This belief that crows are a problem in agricultur...This belief that crows are a problem in agricultural is misguided and there really isn't any excuse for it these days. If anything crows are beneficial to farmers because they eat large quantities of pests like leatherjackets (that's what a flock of corvids in a field is doing, not eating significant quantities of newly sown maize or sunflower). Any garde champetre/chasse who is still engaged in trapping crows is seriously old fashioned and needs retiring or retraining. He is wasting his time, making useless work and generally not a very informed or observant person.
