It was really just an open house with a lot of photos of my aunt and the rest of the family posted all around the room. Fifty or sixty people must have come through over the course of the afternoon. We all shared stories and memories of Ann, the old neighborhood, and the olden days. We really enjoyed ourselves. We weren't sad -- it was more of a celebration of my aunt's life than a formal memorial service. I was so glad to be here.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-82122487624399212122015-11-08T02:13:34.222+01:002015-11-08T02:13:34.222+01:00Hope you enjoyed them.Hope you enjoyed them.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-29817543884023555352015-11-08T02:13:15.071+01:002015-11-08T02:13:15.071+01:00I bet they were good biscuits.I bet they were good biscuits.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-49705762844739050492015-11-07T23:26:07.478+01:002015-11-07T23:26:07.478+01:00I'm glad you are able to be with your family f...I'm glad you are able to be with your family for your Aunt Ann's service. Yesterday the weather was beautiful and MA, Joanna, and I had lunch at the Dock House restaurant in Beaufort, outdoors, right on the boardwalk along the waterfront. Today there's a memorial service (wake) for my aunt Ann, who died back in June. I'm working on setting up a new computer for MA, to replace the one first Joanna and then MA have been using for nearly 10 years now. MA and Jo send their best greetings.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-60111904414282362462015-11-07T14:14:33.375+01:002015-11-07T14:14:33.375+01:00So I have no croissants but some little bitty cinn...So I have no croissants but some little bitty cinnamon rolls.
