I think there may have been some wine involved, but John usually doesn't "forget" such things (especially when it involves eating.) I am not sure about what we ate but the filet mignon de porc sounds right. And I am sure I would have always wanted frites. The vagueness of the memory does alarm us slightly, but we always have so much wonderful food when we visit that it is difficult to remember it all!
CandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-28723289166867971892008-06-20T17:32:00.000+02:002008-06-20T17:32:00.000+02:00I don't think you took Margaret and me there; lots...I don't think you took Margaret and me there; lots of places were closed when we were visiting a few years ago. Poutres was a new word for me a month ago, but it is now reinforced from multiple references. They just had a guest on who was talking about the difference between grass-fed and grain-fed beef, and I wondered if one could reallllly tell the difference... I guess you can!

Is their Bon Anniversaire song the same tune as ours? or do they have a French song they use?Seine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-5813082838302160272008-06-19T16:38:00.000+02:002008-06-19T16:38:00.000+02:00I'm sure we'll get to Le Crepiot someday - it's ju...I'm sure we'll get to Le Crepiot someday - it's just that the food, the wine, and the company have been so damned good at the little place where we've been staying :-)

C & JAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-77916137589640099012008-06-19T15:55:00.000+02:002008-06-19T15:55:00.000+02:00Another yummy entry - the meal sounds great. I think she was scarred by public (ie private) school meals as a child :-)
Way to go C-H with the Ste Maure de Touraine as well :-))
SusanSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06472449597146519943noreply@blogger.com
