I think San Francisco changed a lot during the years you were there, a lot of this the result of the growing tech industry boom. A lot of new tall buildings have gone up since you left, including the notorious sinking hi rise:

https://sf.curbed.com/2018/4/16/17242450/millennium-tower-sinking-repair-tilting-building-san-franciscoDiogenesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-88034849802201409972018-05-03T17:31:20.612+02:002018-05-03T17:31:20.612+02:00We have a guest bedroom in California....We have a guest bedroom in California....C in Californiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11797701714608179842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-38762701123090551032018-05-03T14:54:55.188+02:002018-05-03T14:54:55.188+02:00I lived in SF a very long time ago, on the edge of...I lived in SF a very long time ago, on the edge of the Marina district .. it was wonderful. I mailed the 11 rolls of film home to be processed when I got home. Almost every single photo turned out to be blurry (because those darn cameras were not great quality). What a disappointment that was.

JudySeine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-73742274508526486012018-05-03T07:26:47.562+02:002018-05-03T07:26:47.562+02:00Such an array of old memories you're showing h...Such an array of old memories you're showing here.
