Using the multi-destination option yielded huge airfares. My solution involved a simple RT to/from CDG. Then I booked a cheap one-way within France. Surprise when I had to add a baggage charge and a couple of other things that messed with the cheapness and they weren't going to let me pay from outside of France. I don't even remember how many times I had to fill out my complete information. Still, it appears they took my money for both flights. We'll see when I show up at the airport(s).
Lee Ihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721969338069074639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-19255326016873301032018-02-14T03:38:45.127+01:002018-02-14T03:38:45.127+01:00Not sure what happened there. I am traveling from the US to France, and you're traveling from France to the US, that's the difference. You are considered as a US citizen and I'm not considered as a French citizen. The airlines are supposed to require people with American passports to have a return ticket at the time of their departure for France (and probably other countries). They can't figure out what to do with people like me (U.S. passport/French resident).I just have to show them my French residency card at the airport, but I can't easily check in on line or at an automatic kiosk at the airport.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-4787283545019476522018-02-13T14:38:21.229+01:002018-02-13T14:38:21.229+01:00Those arrangements for people flying because of fa...Those arrangements for people flying because of family emergencies no longer exist, as far as I know.

Emm, you comments keep landing in my spam folder.
