The labels got out of control and need heavy editing. But the Blogger label feature is not easy to use -- it's too time-consuming. Maybe I'll do some research and see if they've improved it recently. I wonder how many people really use the index labels. I guess you do, or ça t'arrive de le faire.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-58105076130560172492009-10-02T02:49:04.954+02:002009-10-02T02:49:04.954+02:00Great post!

I was thinking that there might be a new category for your Cantal trip, but didn't see one, which made me look for the label.

JudySeine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-22682929604418383462009-10-01T21:52:44.137+02:002009-10-01T21:52:44.137+02:00Jean & I had a camping tour down that way a fe...Jean & I had a camping tour down that way a few years back. The gastronomic highlight was the village restaurant where we pitched the tent (can't remember the exact place but it was between Bort and Salers) with the most incredible menu. Everything had very poetic french decriptions - the one that sticks in my mind was something like "jeunes vaches rire dans leurs grands-mères bleu" - young cows laughter in their grandmother's blue - As any gastronaught will tell you thats veal testicles in blue Auvergne cheese.......
I had something else!

NickNickLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10597310462094749435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-44540518679549582262009-10-01T18:45:40.501+02:002009-10-01T18:45:40.501+02:00Simon, ha ha ha. But yes, isn't cheese a human right?

Evelyn, make sure you tell Betty and Conn hello for us. When are they coming back to France? Want to plan a trip to Auvergne with them? I'd like to go to Saint-Nectaire and Clermont-Ferrand next time. For the truffade, I think the farmer's cheese will be good. I'll make mine tomorrow too and take pictures.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-3704196510561388552009-10-01T15:18:52.605+02:002009-10-01T15:18:52.605+02:00I'm making truffade tomorrow - our friends Con...I'm making truffade tomorrow - our friends Conn and Betty are visiting this weekend. I took your suggestion of using the melting cheese I could find here. It's called "farmer's cheese" and comes in a round wheel.

The truffade you made us was so good and better than the one we had in the restaurant later.Evelynnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-35049952081901467742009-10-01T11:47:15.752+02:002009-10-01T11:47:15.752+02:00You mean that first photo isn't a photo illust...You mean that first photo isn't a photo illustrating human rights and fashion?

Verd verification is "boodad"Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06203768991989701121noreply@blogger.com
