I especially enjoyed a January evening up there while the holiday decorations were still up on the Champs Elysees. With the blue decorations, the red tail lights and white headlights, it was so much like a huge French flag. Daytime, just so much hustle bustle.Lee Ihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721969338069074639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-66077687121860501932015-09-18T17:50:37.057+02:002015-09-18T17:50:37.057+02:00Great pics and lighting. La Résistance de 1814 je pense.

We used to stay with friends who lived in the top floor of a building on Avenue de la Grande Armée, one of the streets that radiates out from the circle, a block or so from the Arc. There was an elevator, thank goodness.

This was another traffic circle I had to go round a few times before I was able to exit.Diogenesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-67930458436084243722015-09-18T13:43:33.479+02:002015-09-18T13:43:33.479+02:00I found it absolutely fascinating up on top of the...I found it absolutely fascinating up on top of the Arc as darkness fell, watching the lights of the traffic moving round l'Etoile: from above it doesn't look like such a mad scrum. And it's a great place to view the Eiffel Tower lighting up.Autolycushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17642868944400656922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-66974339014745183322015-09-18T13:37:20.706+02:002015-09-18T13:37:20.706+02:00Merci, J.Merci, J.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-86662934032216450102015-09-18T13:23:10.983+02:002015-09-18T13:23:10.983+02:00All are great photos -- the user of the cameras is...All are great photos -- the user of the cameras is doing a great job ;)
Seine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-83411111057147090572015-09-18T10:53:19.254+02:002015-09-18T10:53:19.254+02:00The first two photos, taken from the Tour Montparn...The first two photos, taken from the Tour Montparnasse, are from the new Panasonic (Lumix TZ60). The second two are photos I took in September 2007 when we went over to the Arc together. They were taken with my at-the-time new camera, the Panasonic Lumix .... TZ3. They are good, aren't they?Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-52563577126553975142015-09-18T08:01:16.794+02:002015-09-18T08:01:16.794+02:00Was it the Canon or the Panasonic? Was it the Canon or the Panasonic?chmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17765675930520613520noreply@blogger.com
