I miss 7-11 with ice in the drinks, the huge NY Times to meander through, the number of movies to see. Of course, I have great compensations when back in France. Hard to beat the bread, the markets and all of that.
Your chicken looks great. I will have to give it a try sometime.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07041872314763651462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-1163360170015618672006-11-12T20:36:00.000+01:002006-11-12T20:36:00.000+01:00Eleanor, here's a link for the Paris-BrestEleanor, here's a link for the Paris-BrestKen Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-1163357575890617312006-11-12T19:52:00.000+01:002006-11-12T19:52:00.000+01:00Lovely, lovely meal. Maybe I'll be doing yard work with you before you know it! What's a Paris-Brest? Couldn't quite make out the ingredients. -- EEleanor Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08376268455318019329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-1163355856852580962006-11-12T19:24:00.000+01:002006-11-12T19:24:00.000+01:00Welcome back!It is a bit of culture shock going ba...Welcome back!

It is a bit of culture shock going back and forth, isn't it? We went back and lived in the USA for a year after two here...and I never did get used to it. So, back here, and I still find little glitches in the routine, like wanting to get a Sunday paper when there are none. It reminds me of a scene in the movie, The Matrix, when Neo sees two black cats one right after the other.

Adaptation is quick, though.

And, by the way, that meal looks terrific!

Meilleurs vœux!blueVicarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08400247178245102554noreply@blogger.com
