The last time, and only time since 1982, that we saw her was sometime in the 1990s. We were in the airport at Roissy, waiting to board a plane back to SF, and there was Jane, suddenly. She had seen us and recognized us. Tell her hello for us.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-51832366764143235742016-12-15T14:52:05.465+01:002016-12-15T14:52:05.465+01:00Oh, we always had one of these when I was growing ...Oh, we always had one of these when I was growing up, that my dad used for our yard's leaves. Now that I think about it, we had a pretty big yard, so that was lots of work!

Guess who I'm seeing this weekend... Jane F.! She happens to be coming to STL, so I'll be having her over, and getting to meet family, too :)Seine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-89755335370387815252016-12-15T14:02:58.809+01:002016-12-15T14:02:58.809+01:00:) I remember my husband going on about having pro...:) I remember my husband going on about having property and mowing lawns etc ... the boy from the Bronx .. Finally he got hi wish. Snow shoveling, leaf raking and mowing. The second year in the house, he hired a man who took over and did it well and with a smile. I really wish there were not a down-side to everything ! :)Notes From ABroadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12202279303962539035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-23438697786353270732016-12-15T10:18:06.929+01:002016-12-15T10:18:06.929+01:00Have a look at this very affordable balai-ramasseu...Have a look at this very affordable balai-ramasseur.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-23374380123431443152016-12-15T10:12:08.100+01:002016-12-15T10:12:08.100+01:00Yes, it works on tarmac/asphalt/concrete. The only surface that's problematic is gravel, because it will sweep gravel up along with the leaves.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-17473366997833224072016-12-15T07:53:49.883+01:002016-12-15T07:53:49.883+01:00Does it work on tarmac? We leave what's on the grass--mow over it and it mulches back into the soil. But on the drive, they just become a mess. A blower is heavy and doesn't work well on damp leaves.Taste of Francehttp://francetaste.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
