He had asked the waitress for a recommendation and asked the price because he didn't have his glasses. She replied, "Thirty-seven fifty," and he naively thought that meant $37.50. But then the bill came and it was, of course, $3750. He claims not to know much about wine, but even he says, "It wasn't great. It wasn't terrible. It was fine."Dean Francehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03317311364315454284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-33319905892240555112015-01-06T17:55:16.031+01:002015-01-06T17:55:16.031+01:00Dean, that comes to about four thousand dollars a ...Dean, that comes to about four thousand dollars a bottle, doesn' it? Only the most prized bottles of the restaurant's exhaustive collection were taken. Interestingly, 66 of the 76 bottles selected by the thieves were from Burgundy.Dean Francehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03317311364315454284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-88994150697088492252015-01-06T14:45:18.848+01:002015-01-06T14:45:18.848+01:00They have a rue Soufflot there!
