So 20 fl. oz. means 2.5 cups (8+8+4 oz.). The problem is that the 8-oz. cup is an American standard, but not a British one. In the U.K., half a pint is 10 oz., not 8. It's all ridiculously confusing.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-20715902429458540782014-03-04T13:11:25.219+01:002014-03-04T13:11:25.219+01:00It does look yummy and easy :)
Now... these things...It does look yummy and easy :)<br />Now... these things always confuse me... when you say something like, "20 fl. oz" of flour, is that telling me not to weigh the flour, but to pour it into a measuring cup that is meant for liquids and marked with ounces?Seine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-27206053865500149272014-03-04T11:37:04.382+01:002014-03-04T11:37:04.382+01:00stupendous! i'm pining it! yay! thanks Ken! :-...stupendous! i'm pining it! yay! thanks Ken! :-)Ohiofarmgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02606563929369721111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-4976378978688067272014-03-04T10:10:43.854+01:002014-03-04T10:10:43.854+01:00Mix it up, put it in a pan, bake it? We now prefer the unsweetened kind that is simply apple purée and have it on our porridge or breakfast cereals.Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09726164724131916224noreply@blogger.com
