Coastal N.C. is not very different, but a little colder in the dead of winter.

The tub is big but not gigantic. We use it mostly for showering the dust off the leaves of big potted plants, or for washing large harvests of kale or collard greens. So it comes in handy.

The old bathroom tile is in very good condition. We're hoping the new tile we chose for the shower will look good next to it.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-77040304085418008152016-11-03T14:12:10.758+01:002016-11-03T14:12:10.758+01:00No, we're keeping the bathtub. The contractor is here today and starting construction of a bigger, tiled-in shower. We'll both put up more photos as the work progresses.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-34687274325700455102016-11-03T13:40:56.722+01:002016-11-03T13:40:56.722+01:00Considering the winters I have had the past couple...Considering the winters I have had the past couple of years, I am quite content with only having to wear a light sweater these days .. Florida might be boring but it doesn't snow.
I love the tile.. love love love :) That was our sink in Buenos Aires, I picked it out , I love it too . How big is the tub ? is it very large or ordinary large ? :)Notes From ABroadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12202279303962539035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-64184245533200677662016-11-03T12:21:30.398+01:002016-11-03T12:21:30.398+01:00Is that a bathtub on the right? So, is that being removed, to be replaced by a big shower, or was there also a small shower, and that was removed, and that's what is going to be replaced?
Great photos of the changing colors :)Seine Judeet (Judith)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07407353544376132484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-92159796273633003092016-11-03T12:15:13.524+01:002016-11-03T12:15:13.524+01:00It's supposed to warm up here for the weekend,...It's supposed to warm up here for the weekend, but be rainy. Those maple trees are a real treat in summer and fall, and they hide our terrace from people driving up the road. The only thing about the maples is the mass of leave we have to rake up in November and December.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18071407.post-41979942595993790272016-11-03T11:16:23.109+01:002016-11-03T11:16:23.109+01:00It's still very warm in the south.
