Montrésor (nº 19)

Montrésor en hiver. A wintertime shot through the bare branches of a tree.

February 2005

We're having strong winds and some rain this morning. Tree branches are down in the yeard. We had very hard rain for a couple of hours yesterday morning. Winter is asserting itself. This is typical weather for the season. The good news is that it's a warm storm. (Positive) 9ºC this morning (nearly 50ºF).

  1. You have really been showing us the beauty of Montrésor. I especially like today's photo......We are not having a storm here in NE Ohio, but it's only 29degreesF at the moment. We do have a dusting of snow on the ground, but my brother in Atlanta has much more.

  2. Ha, mild at minus 9? I mistook the dash for a minus sign. The 50F made me realise my mistake.

  3. I love the photo through the bare tree branches. I miss the weather now, in NY .. it is more raw and fierce sometimes and always beautiful, the way it is in Montresor, I imagine.

  4. The photo of Montrésor seen through bare tree branches would make a good jigsaw puzzle, I think.
