A sea bird

My internet connection is still unstable. Here's a bird I saw wading at the edge of the surf a couple of days ago. I'm posting it a few days before you'll actually see it.

Happy postcard day. Here the temperature is now definitely spring-like.

  1. A lot of movement in the water. Beautiful photo. I wonder if we're going to have an early spring?

    1. Yesterday afternoon, my sister, two of her granddaughters, a friend, and I spent more than an hour on the beach picking up seashells. There were quite a few people out there — some fishing, some shelling, some walking, and others just enjoying the fine weather. I now have a whole box full of nice shells and have to decide whether I can actually take them back to France.

  2. Wash them and put them in a ziplock bag and pack it in with your underwear .

  3. Glad that the shelling has been good. They are free souvenirs of your home place. Thanks for the fine photo of surf and birdie.

  4. It looks like it may be an early spring here. We've got daffodils up and not far from blooming! I hope we don't get a big freeze.
    We have no seashells, however!

    1. I saw a tree in full bloom today. Not sure what kind of tree it was, but it was covered in big white flowers.

  5. Ahhh, a little retired citizen at the beach lol
The waves look good, is the water rough from storms out at sea or is this typical ?

    1. The day I took those photos it was quite windy. That makes the water rough.
